Consuela Marshall is an Occupational Therapist with a
career spanning over 25 years, specializing in providing rehabilitation services to individuals of advanced age, those facing debilitating diagnoses, or recovering from debilitating injuries.
She is also a Certified Fall Prevention Specialist and a
Certified Aging in Place Specialist. Having served as a caregiver to her mother, Consuela intimately understands the challenges faced by caregivers as they navigate the complexities of caring for their loved ones while not losing focus on other aspects of their lives.
In 2021, she founded ‘Finding A Foothold,’ an Aging in
Place and Caregiver Consultant Service. The core mission, to empower family caregivers and aging adults/seniors through education, training, and support.
Consuela offers virtual group coaching sessions for aging
adults under the banner ‘Staying Safe in Your Place,’ an aging-in-place coaching program empowering them to live more independently with decreased injury risks.
For family caregivers, she offers ‘UN- Losing You in
Caregiving’ caregiver coaching services, are aimed at helping family caregivers to define their role as a caregiver and help them tailor a caregiving plan that allows them to take care of their needs while also supporting the needs of their loved ones.
