About Mike:
Mike Houston is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Proveer at Northgate Memory Care in North Houston, TX. He has done marketing and administrative roles for various healthcare agencies, in the Houston market, for over 20 years. Most of his experience has been in Home Health and Hospice but also Senior Living and Memory Care. Mike has observed the industry closely and has seen a lot of changes in healthcare. He is passionate about meeting the needs of seniors and being a resource to the community.
Mike helps families navigate through these challenges with his many connections and insights. Mike has two sons, Zach and Sam (20 & 19), and lives in the Cypress/Tomball area of North Houston. He grew up in Alaska and came to Texas to study at Texas Tech University and ultimately graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. Before working in healthcare, he was a Youth and College minister throughout Texas for about 15 years.
