Zach Ross
Estate Planning Attorney
Zach Ross
Zach Ross is an estate planning attorney at Your Legacy Legal Care®, where he helps families plan for the future with clarity and compassion. Zach earned both his JD and MBA from Texas Tech University, where he acquired skills to help guide clients through some of life’s most important decisions.
Before finding his passion in estate planning, Zach worked as corporate counsel for a construction firm, negotiating complex commercial contracts and managing litigation. While the work was valuable, he realized he wanted a more personal connection to the people he was helping — which led him to estate planning, where he could use his legal expertise to make a direct impact on people’s lives.
Early in his career, Zach cut his teeth at a top-tier plaintiff’s law firm, diving into everything from crafting persuasive legal briefs to overseeing a complex mass torts docket with more than a thousand clients. He’s played a role in high-stakes litigation and has seen cases through every stage of the legal journey.
Fluent in Spanish and a passionate traveler, Zach enjoys exploring new cultures as much as he enjoys a good game of pickleball or biking along Houston’s bayou trails. A native Houstonian who grew up near Rice University, he’s a proud Astros fan — and when he’s not in the office or out on the trails, you can find him hanging out with his three-legged cat, Achilles.
